Well, this pretty much says it all.

No kidding?

I said that says it all!

Oh well.

Sunday morning rituals continued, even with William’s impediment. Papa and Grandma are up, we head to Shoneys for the Breakfast Buffet. Mary has to get her strawberries, and William will dip french toast sticks into the syrup. It’s a force of nature, don’t try to change it.

Papa left to head back home, and we went back to the Zoo. Pictures are available if you click the image of William. Or just go straight to the Gallery site. It went pretty well. It was 75 degrees and absolutely lovely. And Packed. Mary enjoyed running around the first part of the zoo, and playing in the Bamboo. Kid loves the Bamboo.

They are doing a ton of work on the Nashville Zoo. Some of it will be pretty nice, some of it, I’m not so sure. They tore down the hill seperating the parking lots, apparently to give more parking, but it destroys some of the nature aspect. It seems like they are doing a lot of that inside the zoo as well. I hope that’s not the case, and that we are just seeing this effect as it’s under construction. They have a ton of land gifted to them, I’d hate to see them just crunch everything together.

William fell asleep 3/4 of the way through, and Mary gave out shortly thereafter. So, she got to ride on my shoulders, WITH BLANKET. Let me tell you, carrying all that camera gear, and a kid isn’t that big of a deal… 80 lbs or so. Combine that with a furry blanket wrapped around your head, and the map being shoved in your eyes and things get more .. Difficult?

William woke screaming again when we put him in the car and refused to take his medicine, but the traveling put him back to sleep. We didn’t attempt to move him back out of the car. Let him rest. We dosed him after he woke and was helpless to refuse.

Guess what we did after nap time?

I’ll give you a hint.

What about now?
Of course… Back to the pond and around the neighborhood.
