Doing Her Part!
MaryVic is more than willing to help brother build up his strength and endurance.
Main Street Festival
Saturday was fairly well organized: dance class, lunch, naps and Main Street Festival.
The Great Air Conditioning hunt.
First and foremost -
New house contractors suck. And not in a good way.
12 years later, their suckage has compounded in interest.
Yes, it’s time to replace the Upstairs Air conditioning unit that was put in with the house.
Pinkerton Park again!
William had such a fun time at the slide yesterday, I thought we’d go again. Of course, the law of 2 year olds is what we liked yesterday we will absolutely not do again tomorrow. They still had a good time at the park.
Trying to Wear Them Down, Pinkerton Park
William didn’t nap long and he wouldn’t go back to sleep once we were home. We had lunch with Daddy, I checked her work email, and we were off again to the park. We rather optimistically thought I could fly a kite. Fortunately MaryVic lost interest quickly and we went to play instead.
Much quieter and colder…
After such a busy day on Saturday, we opted to stay in out of the cold despite MaryVic’s morning pleas to go to the indoor pool. I set the rule that the temperature was going to have to be at least 55-60 degrees warm for me to consider getting in the pool.
Our usual family routine for a weekend day was followed.
Two steps forward
I guess William heard me bragging on him about getting out of chair because on Wednesday, he wouldn’t do it! After providing encouragement, “C’mon, You can do it!”, he told me he needed help. “Help! Stuck Momma!” Now why does that have a familiar ring to it???
He still continues to improve despite the hesitancy on Wednesday.

Staying home…
It’s another gloomy day in Franklin. It isn’t raining today but overcast with a slight chill in the breeze. We’ve stayed indoors mostly and have been taking it easy. MaryVic declared a pajama day and stayed in hers all day long.
