What about GoPro? They are made for capturing sports, though video and still. I know that the new Ski and Sun has them in stock to look at, over next to TJ Maxx

Thanks for the comment! I didn't hear any runners that were happy with year 2... It was a train wreck on many ways. That's the main reason I wrote this, as the event organizer really did a great job making amends for the problems in the past.

Nice spinner on the bling! I would have been disappointed with the paper too especially if they did medals the year prior! Congrats on finishing, even if it wasnt your best time, it was pretty close!

I predominately run on Asphalt when available, concrete when it's not. 8 miles a week or so on track.

I run roads, sidewalks when I have to.

If I had to guess, I'd say it's 70% Asphalt, 25% Concrete, 5% other.

Thank you Mark! I've got a friend down in T-Town that is starting to run. I may send her your way to give her a heart attack!

I think we're going to shadowbox some of the stuff into a nice display.

Eric,

You were fine. I kept going without a problem after your break. If anything, it was my break that hurt me more. And stopping for the family. It's not something that I regret, and frankly, 3:45 didn't qualify me for anything.

BQ: Yeah, I'll see in a year. I think I'm going to work TOWARDS that goal, but I'm not going to put a timeline on it just yet. Having the Marathon DONE is a huge weight off my back that I'm not quite ready to replace. If things go well over the spring/summer, then maybe a Fall/Winter BQ is in the cards.

It's really a great event. Such a shocking difference from the Competitor offerings. I really enjoyed the smaller, more personal feel of the event.

Thanks again for the pacing, and everything else!

Hey Greg,

Enjoyed reading your recaps! Nice job. I hope my potty break didn't ruin your 3:45. I really enjoyed the conversation on the first half.

Congrats on getting your daughter's picture in the paper! That sign is awesome!

RE: what next... With serious training, you could BQ. It hurts pretty bad, so be ready for that. Huntsville is a good place to do it.

Thanks for your nice words about the event. A lot of people work really hard to pull that off and I'm VERY glad to see that hard work pay off with people getting to enjoy the event and the city.

Congrats!
